Stress is Becoming a Buzz Word That Seems to Get More and More Attention These Days

Do you feel that you can’t slow down and catch your breath in this fast paced society?  It’s a growing concern.  Many feel over worked and pulled in many directions and they are looking for a light at the end of a dark tunnel.   I believe this is why there seems to be an explosion in spas everywhere.

One common link I found is that most of these luxury establishments create a strong first impression and establish a relaxing classy ambiance with moving water.   Visitors and guests are often greeted with the sights and sounds of cascading, gurgling water which helps transform us from our busy lives to a place where we can feel relaxed and transformed, free from the stresses of everyday life.

If you are like me then visiting a luxury hotel or spa is a real treat.  You really feel like you are in a special place from the moment you step in the door until you walk out after your intended stay.  Unfortunately I don’t get to visit these establishments on a regular basis, so I focused my energy on how I can create my personal living space to reflect the feel and ambiance of those very special places.  I added a couple of indoor fountains to my home.  One is a wall waterfall in my living room and the other is a floor fountain in my bedroom.  Both fountains have added that spa feel to my home that helps me to relax every day when I’m home.
